Birds everywhere this morning, all seeming to be carrying supplies for nests. A busy time of year for them, full of hope and anticipation. We have a couple of mallards that seem to have taken up residence on our pond. I’m suspicious they are eating all the tadpoles but it’s nice to have some different birds in the garden.
I’m planning a nest painting using bank note collage for the nest and eggs and possibly an ink loose, washy bird. I will have to paint some mallards too at some point.
